One more place-shifting product unveiled

It's very like a personal web server within a box, and be able to pull your files inside a USB storage from any internet connected place. Unlike CyberLink Live, Orb or SlingBox, it cannot stream and playback media on-the-fly. 這個產品可以說是一個硬體版的個人網站, 只要接上一個USB硬碟, 另一頭連上家庭寬頻分享器, 就可以讓你在Internet上存取USB硬碟的檔案. 不過不方便的是不像 CyberLink Live, Orb 或是 SlingBox可以支援串流(不需等待下載即可播放).

To be honest, I am very happy that more and more this kind of products or applications show up, which means more and more people have the demand to access personal content or media from home anytime, anywhere. Afterall we are living in a digital world, soon or later our personal digital content need to be ubiquitous and accessible. 坦白說, 個人非常樂意看到越來越多這類型的產品或應用出現, 這也表示越來越多人有異地存取家中媒體的需求. 畢竟這是個數位時代, 遲早個人媒體的存取會是無所不在的.
